Totally it's one of the first creepy eerie movies I ever seen years ago, Jack Nicholson possessed by this ghost turning him into a maniac while his wife and son are trying to escape this huge hotel their in the ghosts scenes are pretty graphic makes you say "eww" at times but you should watch it I'd recommend it.

The book is better. The movie is only OK. With Nicholson starring and Kubrick directing I was expecting it to be much better. It's not a bad film but I was kind of disappointed. The made-for-TV version is much worse.

There's two versions ya know. Get the Stanley Kubrick version with Jack Nicholson. The other one sucks.

King is okay. I saw IT and I didn't get scared once.
