Well, I never used protection and the first month I didn't get pregnant but the second month I did. They say on average a woman who is trying to conceive will conceive by the six month. But a woman who isn't trying but just not using preotection will conceive within a year. If you have been having unprotected sex for 5 years then you may have some fertility issues especially if you were trying to get pregnant. Go to a fertility doctor to determine what the problem is. Sometimes partners just aren't compatible. Sometimes the man is infertile and sometimes you might be infertile or just need a little extra help to conceive. They will have all the answers for you.

No. You might just not be ovulating when you have sex. If you really wanna get pregnant, find out the week where you are ovulating the most, and have sex frequently in that week. If you are really concerned, call a doctor and they can to a fertility test on you to see if there is something wrong with your reproductive system.

Even if everything is perfect (i.e.time of month, temperature, sperm count, ovulation, etc.), you only have a 25% chance of getting pregnant when having unprotected sex. You should read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler to better understand how fertility works, and what your body does every month to prepare for ovulation. Good luck!

I had unprotected sex for 3 yrs and I just got pregnant in April.

It's spelled "whore" not horror. If you are having sex during Ovulation for 5 years and trying ot concieve and not, I would seek a doctors oppinion. Good Luck. :)

no yo arrse just lucky.....be careful honey unless you want an STD or pregnancy or hell u CAN get both...like the other person said u may NOT be ovulating when u do it but like i said unless u get protection (unless you trying to get preggy) yo arrse gonna get the VAPORS!!!!!!..to dckjones524...there are 4DAYS out of the month that a woman can get pregnant...maybe once over several days but not one time....there are 2 days b4 and 2 days after...hell...how old do u think some of these ppl are that write in...

could be. ask a real professional, not us. and ask about both you and your partner, not just you. conception in humans is in no way perfect, so there is no garuntee that any given attempt will work. however, *many* failed attempts could be a sign of something bad. just try at different times of day, the month, the week, etc until you are pretty sure it isn't working. then get serious and ask. really.

Doesn't mean you are not able to get pregnant. I was the same way but use protection cause you can get a surprise when you least expect it.

sometimes chemistry plays a good part...i was sexual active with one man for two years...than I was active with the father of my unborn child now and I got pregnant within a year, and I wasnt trying...just ask a OBGYN to be on the safe side, and trust me it happens when you least expect it...good luck

You might just be lucky. It's hard to say. If you don't want to get pregnant, though you should use something, Maybe it was the guy.
