Check sky news. I think the M4 corridor running from the westcountry across to london via oxford etc is due to flood next, due to the flood waters just folliowing the natural course of the main river - it flows eastward along that way, so thats whats gonna be next.
Good luck if it hits you, just get everything valuable upstairs and try and buy some bottled water - they are running out of water in gloucestershire and the surrounding areas, and the mains water has been cut off as the water processing plants have been flooded.
They have nbo electricity or gas and shops are only sellng minimal amounts of water to people, so if you know its gonna hit, get some stocked up.

Did it rain on July 14th? Yes it did!
What is significant of that day? It is St. Swithans Day.
The adage states that if it rains on St. Swithans Day it will rain for 40 days and 40 nights.
So how much more warning do you need?
Because it has not happened in recent years everybody has become complacent.

That's ALWAYS hard to say, because no one knows for certain- where the heaviest rains will fall- next. Keep an eye on the sky, an ear to the latest reports on the radio & Telly, and a quick evacuation plan handy- JUST in case.....
