Does anyone think that it's just time before Iraq or Iran or someone will engage in nuclear war with us...and drop bombs on our cities like we did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? What do you think is the first step our country might take to rebuild if this tradgedy did occur?

How is Iraq going to drop a nuclear bomb on us when they didnt even have the means to WMD in the first place?
Iran wouldn't. They know that the U.S. and Israel would absolutely destroy the country. What leader would be willing to do that?

I have no doubt that some day a terrorist group will manage to get a nuclear weapon into the US and kill tens of thousands of people. That's probably not going to happen in the next 10 years. it will not "be the end of America" as some people here irrationally think. It will have an effect similiar to the September bombings or Katrina, a huge impact on the local area and more diffuse problems/shortages in other areas.
The most likely incident is that Iran or some other Muslim Country uses a nuclear weapon against Israel. Isreal is a very small country, and 2 or 3 strong nuclear weapons could effectively destroy it. In such a case there might be some retaliation against the attacking country, or maybe not. The US did not interfere in any other war between Israel and its neighbors. While strong sanctions might be placed on them, and possibly some retaliatory bombing, its unlikely the US or UN would invade Iran or another muslim country.

Iraq doesn't have a nuclear bomb.
Iran is making one but Israel will probably bomb Iran's nuclear facilities before they finish building it.
They wouldn't fly a plane over and drop the bombs if they had them, they would sneak it in through the border and a terrorist would drive it into a city, probably in a Ryder truck, and blow it up when it got into the heart of the city.
America would never recover...if the bomb went off in Washington DC, our government would mostly be destroyed...and we would have to survive on our own without the governments help.
US troops raided a terrorist training camp in Pakistan at the beginning of the war on terror, and during the raid, the troops found a laptop computer. The laptop computer contained the shipment record that a nuclear bomb had been transported to the eastern coast of the US. (Jerusalem Countdown, John Hagee)
We have probably found this weapon, but if we did, the government wouldn't let us know about in fear that Americans would panic knowing that a terrorist had a bomb in the US...the same thing happened in Israel a while ago...a terrorist had a dirty bomb in his truck and was driving it to Jerusalem, but got stopped at a checkpoint and arrested before he could reach his target...Israel kept it a secret for as long as they could.

No i don't think so. we have things you can not imagine that will fight back and take them out. we have bombs that can go underground right now miles and we haveused someo f them in these wars we've been in so far. there are so many things we have so much technologies you could never evendream of to help cover. we have people treatening but the only way is a nut that would do such a thing and we'd take them out.

Have you heard about some kind of defense mechanisms called: radars?? I bet we have many of those right there around or close to their borders. I would say that maybe they can use a dirty bomb, but believe me, they will be digging their own grave.

We have all been bamboozled again by the politicians of the world. we are the little busy worker mice who must follow our beloved leaders - the politicians. if group a. politicians hate group b., they tell us. everybody must adhere to the rules. if group b. politicians says it is time, we in group b. attack group a. i hate group a. mice, but i cannot remember why anymore? i love our mice in group b., however because we are the beloved group b. mice. it is so simple once you understand.
