Always, always, always call your pediatrician for this sort of question. Don't trust the advice on Yahoo Answers when it comes to this stuff. It's your baby.

I think the general guideline is that most berries come after a baby is one year old. Most doctors recommend starting a 6 month old with cereal (baby cereal with one grain like rice or oatmeal).

The doctor should tell you which baby foods to introduce then (one at a time... giving at least about 5 days with a new food to see if there's an allergic reaction like diaper rash). Usually mushed up sweet potatoes or peas or applesauce are starter foods.

But don't take my word for it...please call your doctor.

Best wishes and enjoy your little one!

probably not recommended. I bet the risk of allergy is too high and also the seeds might not be the easiest for them to deal with. Even the consistency of raspberries would not be real easy for a 6-month old.

If they have at least two teeth it should be alright. You might want to cut the raspberries into smaller pieces though.

I would say no at that age allergies are a concern, but however it could cause awful gas or the runs as well

Only if you strain the seeds out - seeds aren't a first food.

They are yummy but you should save them for when they are older because their taste buds are underdeveloped and you don't want your baby to crave sweet foods
