diet coke and mentos?

Question

have you ever seen one of those diet coke and mentos videos where instead of just letting it shot up like this http://youtube.com/watch?v=5xH67ed78S0 they close the top and shake it up then throw it on the ground how do you do that caz when i tryed it it all shot up before i could close the top what the trick to doing it and also i saw a couple videos where when they did it it didn't shoot up at all how do i avoid that?

i tryed to see if the tisssu thing worked BEFORE i asked this question and it doesn't work caz if you shove it to far it falls if you only put in it a lil bit you can obly put one in

pour out enough of the soda to leave a little space at the top. Just a little. take tissue and make a little pouch out of it to hold the mentos and tuck it down inside the neck of the bottle. Screw the cap on over the tissue then shake it up. the tissue should disolve as soon as it gets wet and the reaction should begin. I have not tried this myself but the principle is sound.

Try putting it in the cap (the Mentos), putting a piece of tape over it, and the screwing the cap back on (but I'm not sure how that would work with the tape). OH! Put the Mentos in a tissue, then stuff it in the cap. Put the lid on, shake and throw.

having pepsi and mentos together is wrong... it can take away ur life... try avoiding it together..
