Because they gain political power by saying it. They are useless politicians. Politicians would kill their own mothers if they would gain ONE more vote than they would lose.

Neither Durbin or Reid have the self-esteem to support
their own motivations..
because everything they use to support themselves is lies saying they were lied to..
.I love the way Dems claim to be lied to when the staus quo pre-war was the prevailing opinion before Bill Clinton...
(whose picture is in the dictionary under the word lied)..
then they subvert the entire impetus for going into Iraq
to being victimized by a liar President..
it's as shabby as anyone advancing that either have the backbone necessary to be responsible for any of their actions..
