Four strokes run stinking hot. The crf-x is an enduro model that must meet emissions regulations. The jetting is set as lean as possible which causes the engine to run somewhat hotter. You could try a richer main jet if you want to experiment. Otherwise, as long as the bike is running smoothly, do not fool with it.

Why do you want to cool it???
It's liquid cooled already. There's no need to do anything else for cooling.

If its a 2 stroke, mix your fuel and oil right and use a good oil. Keep the coolant full, and don't ride the slow trails if it doesn't have a fan
