Yes it does because enough people see it. Let's pick a thing.
How about half dome at Yosemite Nat'l Park. Many generations have seen it. Most everyone sees it the same. The photos of it are seen the same to most everyone. If it were justs a product of our brain it would be inturupted different ways. Then the photos would not be seen the same way
Eventually the picture wouldn't envoke a memory of people if it is seen differently in peoples mind.It isn't a suggestion that invockes the memory it is the knowledge of what it looks like in our mind. There are maybe people who are mentally ill who would see it once and not remember what it was if they saw a picture of it a year later. But, that is not the majority of people. Thus the world does exist outside of our minds.

There are people called Socio Paths who manulipate reality to fit their world. Even they see the same Half Dome Pictures and know what it is if they have seen it before.

When I leave a room, the room continues to exist. If ten people entered a room that they have never seen before they might remember things once they are out of the room. Yet, it is still the same room. If you bring the people back and say...."is this the same room?" they would say yes.

You are looking at this all wrong, the question itself doesn't even make sense, which is why no one can solve it.
Everything we do is based on our language, without a word for something we can't ponder it. You are asking the question WITH language, but in order to answer the question you need to breach the barrier that is language.

"You cannot get out of the world, to look back in on it." - LW
Here he means everything that you know, like it's hard to evaluate yourself because you ARE yourself. It's the same with language. How do you evaluate a word outside of the word? There is nothing more to the word than it's use.

Maybe some of us feel like we are living in a dream because we have some sort of blindfold over our eyes...

This is what John 12:39 says, (about people and God, and what the devil has done to us)

For this reason they could not believe, because, as Isaiah says elsewhere:
"He has blinded their eyes
and deadened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn—and I would heal them."Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about him.

So this is saying, if we see Jesus's Glory, (who he really is) then we will have opened eyes to see the world differently.

The question is homocentric. This rock has been here for 4.3 billion years. For 99.99% of that time humans didn't exist. To say that we have to be conscious of something before it can exist is ludicrous. The universe is 15 billion years old. The entire human existence will last but a tiny fraction of that. In the history of the universe, we'll be an asterisk with small footnote at the bottom of the page that reads "Came and went... nothing to report."

your world is your mind
in the jewish bible there is some holy book called 'kabala" which teaching you how to create your world with your mind ,
it says that you can be who ever you want to be only if you be one with yourself and learn to LOVE yourself your fears your mistakes and so on,
i have been reading about it a while ago and i was surprised by the things you can create with your mind i would recommend you to check on a book/movie called the secret it reveals some of the information from the 'kabala"

No. World is a function of mind.
Everything is a part of consciousness. Not human consciousness, consciousness in general. Even the rocks are conscious. They're not sentient but they are conscious.

See, interdependent origination.
