Since the Frosted mini wheats are whole wheat, I would have to go with them, but that is a very good question. I just wouldn't eat anything else sugary that day if you are trying to avoid it.

Wheat doesn't do you much good unless it's 'whole wheat'. So even though the Frosted Mini Wheats have sugar, they are still better because they have whole wheat. If you are trying to avoid sugar, just look and see how much they have, because there are probably lots of other cereals that contain whole wheat without sugar.

It depends. If you're a diabetic, then the wheat chex may be a better option. If you're not, then the stuff with some sugar would probably actually be best - sugar isn't poisonous or unhealthy unless you're either diabetic or get WAY too much of it.

You can buy puffed wheat or rice cereal made with brown rice. An excellent source of fiber is Uncle Sam's cereal. It contains 10 grams of fiber per serving.

You don't need the sugar. It is empty calories. It does nothing for you. The unsweetened cereal is healthier hands down. I gave up sweetened cereals years ago. If I feel like I want it sweet sometimes I add honey. It's the best sweetener there is. It's full of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidents, plus it's sweeter than sugar and has less calories.

How about neither. Eat a couple of eggs, some whole wheat toast, and some peanut butter.

whole grains have all kinds of vitamins, amino acids, and minerals, so i would always choose the whole grain. Kashi makes a yummy cereal that has several whole grains in it. Also avoid high fructose corn syrup, no matter what kind of flour the cereal is made of.
