The musikfest in August 2-12 with all kinds of music and concerts on 12 sites throughout downtown. Bands like Randy Weeks, Meat loaf, Dixie and whole more homegrown to famous.

Hi!
We've just had the City festival and fringe and all the local parks have festivals with stages of music, fairgrounds etc. We have a big Asian Mella due next weekend, all the big religious festivals, Chinese dragon dances, Buddhas birthday, Nativity stuff at Christmas, Christmas Eid celebrations. There will be bands, marching bands, food from every nation, dance of all kinds. During Respect week, we have sports and other youth events across the city and the surrounding communities. We have a big-wheel in the city, Halloween health walks and poetry recitals, a tattoo, art exhibitions etc.
Here we talk about Great Britain - but Greater Manchester!

We just had the Taste of Chicago, but that is in our town, next will be the Air and Water Show. I think one of Illinois neighbors has Cornfest.....
