As far as I know...she hosts a crappy chat show ! but earns 130 million quid a year...HOW??

She's never married... Jk, No she was just as savy of a business women as she was a talk show host. She owns Harpo which is the studio that produces her show, Dr. Phil and now Racheal Ray. She's got a magzine, that she's always the cover model for. She invests, she has a couple of homes. Private plane, a school in Africa now. Which helps her net worth. She was also in The Color Purple. She's worth a scrap load of money. I dont know what a quid is exactly, but I think shes worth a billion dollars now, and she makes 150 million a year just for her talk show. She gets good guests, makes headlines, and helps people. Shes a great women whether you like to admit it or not. ANd yes she does make a lot of money but she donates alot and has many foundations and charities that she runs. SO STOP HATIN'!

Oprah brings many viewers to the TV network that she is on. Many people in television make a lot of money. For instance, David Letterman makes about $40 million dollars a year and his show isn't even as uplifting as Oprah's show, but I still love watching David Letterman though. Oprah has a magazine and probably has other investments that we don't even know about.

Hate to tell you this but she earns $265. million a year. I have no idea what she does or did to earn that much money. I want to know what happened to the color she was when she made Color Purple. I also want to know how she became an expert in everything. This Yank doesnt care for her and I'm not alone.
We want to know why she doesnt spend some of her money on people in the United States.

well actually in my opinion she's one of the few people in the world that actually deserves the money that she earns, she works hard for it--talk show host, magazine editor, she does charity stuff and w/e... but when i saw these people like flavor flav or whatever the hell is name is that makes tons of money for his inability to rap--that gets me pissed off...as well as the queen, what does she do other than sit in her little castle ordering people around. OR Beckham, didn't he get like a 6billion contract with galaxy?

It's not just her talk show, she herself is a brand.....tv stations dish out serious money to compete against other tv stations to have her show air on their station in a particular city....plus she has SO much power over women and men....people will litterally go out and buy what she endorses therefore making her a great spokeswoman for a lot of products....not to mention her charity work....yah she deserves every penny...she built herself up

well...you said hosts a crappy talk show...so thats why you're getting that type of feedback....
she is a humanitarian, a talk show host, she has a radio show, and her own magazine....but i don't know if that's all
her show is about the ups and downs of life and sometimes celebrities.....
i used to hate her too...but i like her show now....it's really informative....i just don't like her peppy attitude....just like rachel ray....i don't like people that act happy all the time....sometimes i see them as obnoxious....it annoys me
and i guess some people love her enough to start a fist fight with anyone that thinks otherwise......

You know I've wondered the same thing about the Jerry Springer show' he has people on his show has them have a fight in front of an audience for their amusement then tells them at the end of the show:
"Thank's for coming on the show I hope you can fix your problems out"
?! why do they go on the show !?

I've wondered the same thing! I think she just has a lot of different businesses, and the people who have shows because of her (Dr. Phil) have to give her money... She makes way too much, that's for sure.

what did the pharoh do to earn carloads of gold and diamonds long ago? people were still sheeple and they followed the flock. everyone locks into a culture and does what they consider being normal is. dig up gold for the pharoh. who is bestowing so much gold on oprah and for what? she gets all dressed up and sits on her throne as broadcast across the planet and they deliver her gold. i guess i do too. you see by watching her you are paying her. get it?
