Sadly, he is probably a cheater.
The truth will hopefully be made public some day.

Just look at his head. More than a few players during the mid to late 90's began to look like "action figures" and baseballs started flying out of the parks. MMH? Long standing records started falling by the wayside and no one, not MLB, not the players association, not the media or the fans chose to look at the elephant in the room. Whether steroids were "officially banned" is not the issue, the nations pastime with it's storied past and longstanding traditions fell victim to greed, and this most recent era has been forever tainted.

He is legitimate in cheating. Therefore being a scar upon baseball forever. However he is a great hitter feasting on watered down pitching from expansion. How good would he be in Ruth's era with 3 aces on most pitching staffs and 154 games instead of 162. Or in Aaron's era with pichers like Drysdale, Gibson, Wilhelm, Koufax, etc... who knows? I think he was a very good player until '96 when roids and Selig came to baseball.

i am one of the few bonds supporters here. he has NEVER test positive for steroids and in this great country of ours, you are innocent until proven guilty. therefore bonds is still clean. and even IF he took roids, steroids dont help with hand eye coordination, they dont help with timing. you can have all the power in the world but if you dont have timing and coordination you wont launch the ball 10 ft. and the fact that bonds is doing all this in the hardest park to hit HRs statistically only makes bonds that much greater. can you imagine how many HRs bonds would have if he played in a hitters park like cincinatti or philly? hed have over 800 by now.

as much as i just wanna ban him from baseball this second before he breaks Henry's record, its not the american way. innocent until proven guilty right? i really blame Selig for all of this. all he tries to do is save face (which ironically really isn't working for him). all that being said, Barry has admitted to using the "cream" and even if he didn't know what is was, it still is cheating

Well, if he was innocent, then his trainer wouldnt be in prison for hiding evidence now would he?
Bonds was cool, until the whole steroids came into play.
Whoever gave me a thumbs down, it's the facts. Why would someone go to Prison if Barry Didn't do steroids. If he didnt, the trainer would of said he didnt, and he never would of went to prison. Why would you go to Prison if you got nothing to hide, Becuz he got something to hide.

Legit.
There is no evidence that he used steriods at any other time than when Baseball was allowing all players to juice it up if they liked.
