The umbilical cord is a transport for nutrient rich blood, not "food" that could be "vomited" - it's not connected to the digestive tract.
Some women find pain relief in a water birth - I tried it and personally wasn't comforted by it, but some women swear by it.
I am vocal during labor, and I imagine that your baby could care less how loud or soft your voice is, but it depends on your personal and cultural preferences, I suppose.

Vomit comes out of the stomach and the umbilical cord is not attatched to the actual stomach organ. Underwater deliveries have been known to ease a baby's entrance into the world. Many cultures believe in giving birth silently, although in the maternity ward new mothers are very noisy due to the pain of it all.

The umbillical cord is not attached to the babys mouth, how would it vomit through it? Also, many women use water birth these days, and of course, keep it as quiet and low-key as possible when a baby is born, it's a traumatic experience moving from womb to world.

No, a baby cannot vomit via umbilical cord.
Water births are controversial at best.
It doesn't matter whether you scream or not. It only matters that you love and care for your baby after the delivery.

If you are pregnant and have so little idea of what is going on inside you and where anything is attached I think that is very sad. You should have taken a sex education course.

matter of personal preference, I suppose, but women weren't designed to give birth that way
scream if you want to - certainly won't hurt the baby
