I would have to ask are these things more exciting than your marriage? Put down your remote control, get you fat butt off of the sofa and take her out, dine her, take her dancing and then get her home and give her a nice warm bubble bath and aske her why. Continue to pay attention to her in this prescribed fashion until she confesses. You will clear up two things and prevent another. One you will focus you energy on her and at that stage of marriage is essential, two you will relieve the need for outside excitement and you will prevent someone else from taking her out and dancing with them and giving her the bubble bath you should be giving. Maybe she has been doing this for a lot longer than you suspect. I suggest you sit down and have a heart to heart with her and get to the bottom of this situation. My guess is, there is wayyyy more to this story.
Women who are happy do not, jump up and start behaving badly.
Maybe she is ready for her youth which she lost when she got married. Maybe she is through raising kids and wants to feel like an attractive person again.
Something tells me you might be clueless. ASK HER. INSIST that you go to counselling, to save your marriage. If she won't go, go alone.
I know you think it is junk, but it will help you to ask good questions and understand her answers. She may be trying to get your attention or she maybe having an affair or started using some drug.
Care enough to find out. You might be able to save your long life together. Or at least know you tried.

Unreal, isn't it? Maybe marriages should expire after 20 years with the option to renew the contract. It would save those of us who thought we were actually going to stick it out the grief of getting our hearts handed to us on a steak knife.

So sorry. I don't know why. She is looking for something. It is most likely her and not something you did or did not do. She will have to choose. You will have to take care of yourself and decide how much crap you plan to tolerate. It is no easy decision. So sorry.
