when both valves are closed what position should the piston be, should it be at full advance,its a py90.or any other info appreciated, thanks

The piston could be at many positions when both valves are closed. What are you trying to figure out?

it can either be a TDC top dead center or 180 degrees out. turn it over just a little more and if the intake valve is opening your close to tdc
