I mean they say the You Tube thing will change the debate somehow, but I have a feeling we will see the same ol' questions and get the same ol' stock answers. They will say we need to do this or that, dance around the questions without giving straight answers. So I think I'll watch it for entertainment purposes, like a game show, who can pander the African American vote the best. Tonight is about the black vote in South Carolina for the Democrats. I hope Joe Biden challenges Hillary to an arm wrestle.

What do you think?

I think that Biden showed that he was ready to lead, he was strong, and told the truth. I think the debates will give a little boost to Biden, and take away from Edwards, because all he did was suck up and praise the other candidates. Hillary versus Obama, was like Obama telling the public he is trying to win the primaries, Hillary told the public she is ready to win the election. She was one step ahead, and more confident than Barack and his answers that seemed to lack confidence. Hillary won, Biden looks like a good VP, Barack was good, Richardson was OK, just a little scared to jump in and say what he had to say. Gravel, Kucinich, and Edwards were mediocre performances....Hillary also showed she was compassionate, and backed up her argument for being a leader.....
The questions of the night were asked to Hillary about Bush Clinton Bush Clinton, she knocked that one dead, and do you think the world is willing to negotiate and deal with a woman president. She killed that but what else do you expect from the front runner?

~3000 vids/questions have been entered, but they will only show 30. Hand picked by CNN, not voted on, or any other 'democratic' process. So no, it's the same ole same ole. Softball questions, well rehearsed answers. It will be like watching a movie you've seen 10 times already, and it's never been really good.

At this time, I count 10 out of the above 12 answers as being about the same as my fol;lowing opinions!! "DOG AND PONY SHOW" boredom !!! However, I intend to watch,Just In Case, Someone Screws Up and gives the non pat response / answer, that has been prearranged !!! WHAT A FIASCO, INSULT TO THE AMERICAN VOTER, TO PRETEND THAT THIS IS ANYTHING OTHER THAN A GRAND SCHEME TO FURTHER DENOUNCE SOMEONE ELSE, ANY ONE ELSE, NOT ON THE STAGE WITH THEM !!!!!!!

I think everything up to the Iowa Caucuses are nothing but entertainment.

Serious debates among serious candidates don't take place on YouTube, websites or anywhere else except a formal setting.

Serious debates don't involve stupid questions and "raise your hand if......" statements.

Right now, it's all theater..... Once all the "wannabes" drop out and the McCains, Romneys, Dodds, Paul, Cucinich and others go home, we will find the serious people will get down to the nitty-gritty at last.

Then, and only then, will the campaign become serious and candidates address serious issues.

Excellent question!!!! But I think I'm going to skip the whole thing and watch something on a higher intellectual level, like "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?"

I doubt that an arm wrestling contest would be much more entertaining then the "debates". The best part of tonight's silliness will be the novelty of the questions/questioners.

Sadly, you are on the right track. I am thinking it will be more infotainment than constructive debate. I say game show; a sporting event would be more interesting.

Yes.
View it as the Communist Party of The Old Soviet Union getting ready for an Election.
It will be about the same thing.

They will have the same views & the same goals, as the old Russian Communists.
