when do you think Americans will be asked by the government to get a chip in their hand for things like I.d. and shopping and stuff? About what year?

My guess is 2020. I won't do it.

I'll leave and live somewhere else before I allow the government to put a chip in me.

It would require at least one more conservative appointment to the Supreme Court, which is what would be required to overrule the current declaration of a fundamental right to refuse such a procedure.

Until then, the chip could only be accepted voluntarily.

Won't happen. Also, the only way to track people that RFID chips is to use large scanners (which are easy to spot) that people have to walk through or be extremely close to.
