He's just so sweet to me and he's working long hours and I feel like I want to do something sweet for him. Plus in a couple more months there's going to be a little baby girl taking up most of our time- might want to be romantic now while i can.

i agree with the person who said men like doing things. pick something he loves to do and go do it. My dh likes movies but he's even told me he enjoys spending time with me cooking or even when he's fixing something. You know what kinds of things he likes. Sports maybe? Or a certain band? Good luck to you and make sure you both keep finding ways to do the sweet things for each other even after the baby comes. It's what keeps your marriage strong.

Make love to him right before he has to go to work. It's a great way for him to start the day! After work give him a nice back rub.

You mow the lawn one weekend. Take him off on a romantic weekend. Wrap yourself in saran wrap and tie a pretty bow around your waist. You take out the trash. Do not fight him for the remote control! Okay maybe not!

Get him tickets to a favorite sports team or concert, make him a CD, get all dolled up & take him clubbing, mow the lawn, take his car to get detailed, rearrange his closet, take him to his favorite horror or action type movie (and don't complain no matter HOW lousy it is), get him an autograph of a celeb he admires....etc

men like DOING things - they don't really like sitting around talking about their feelings - so maybe buy tickets to a game, or go fishing or go scuba diving, or go horseback riding or find some ACTIVITY you both can do together.

I know a couple who were nearly divorced and then they started scuba diving regularly together - it saved their marriage. promise.

Make reservations for dinner wherever he likes to go and give him a BJ on the way there.

For long lasting...Make him a book of the story of your lives together, either drawn or use one of the on line publishing services like www.blurb.com.... Make it sexy, humorous, and a little risque.

For short lasting...wine and lingerie ;)

Clean the house and when he comes home put his feet up and rub them for him and tell him you will forever be his special love gerbil and hug his legs close while you breathe deeply in his man scents.
