Poll: Do you like sausage gravy or bacon gravy?

Biscuits with Pork Sausage Gravy
Prep Time: 20 min
Makes: 5 servings

Biscuits
1 (12-oz.) can Pillsbury® Golden Layers® Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits
Gravy
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
1 (14-oz.) can ready-to-serve fat-free chicken broth with 1/3 less sodium
1/4 cup half-and-half

1 . Bake biscuits as directed on can.
2 . Meanwhile, crumble sausage into large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink, stirring frequently. Remove sausage from skillet. Drain. Set aside.
3 . Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. With wire whisk, stir in flour, garlic powder and pepper. Gradually stir in broth and half-and-half. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Stir in cooked sausage. Split warm biscuits; place on serving plates. Serve sausage mixture over warm split biscuits.

I love sausage gravy. Made a ton of it yesterday and a huge batch of biscuits for breakfast. It was gooood. It's my hubby's favorite, too.

sausage gravy. but if theres too much sausage in the gravy, it makes it too greasy and it doesnt taste good.
