my car has washington flyer taxi on the side and scratches , you think a wax job wud help or polishing?

it used to be a taxi and u can still see the imprint of the sticker if u look closely and it has some scratches, yall think a good wax job would do the trick? or shud i pay money for a paint job?

wax may fill some tiny scratches,but rubbing compound will remove them, then you wax after that.
