I took all AP classes every year in high school except my junior year. I really enjoyed them and when it got too hard (my junior year) I transferred down a level for that year and then came back my senior year when it was more manageable. The classes will probably be challenging, which is good for you, but if they are too hard you can always switch.
The thing is to take classes that challenge you but don't kill you. Some people will tell you you have to take the super hard classes to get into college - this is not true unless you want to get into Harvard or a similar college. It is better to take mid-level classes and get a good GPA then have high level classes and a low GPA. (Of course a good GPA at the high level classes is better, but not essential.) Then, do good on your standardized tests (SAT or ACT) and you should be able to get into any number of colleges. I got a slightly lower GPA at the higher level classes and I had many classmates who got a higher GPA at the mid-level classes and we all got into the same good college.
Also, AP credits are totally overrated. You should be taking AP classes so you will be challenged, not for the college credits. I got lots of AP credits but all they did for me was get me out of a few general education classes. I ended up majoring in English and I took those classes I got credit for again in college anyway because I didn't feel sufficiently prepared for the more advanced English classes from my high school stuff.
Also, I thought the AP credit classes I took in high school actually turned out to be harder than a lot of my college classes. This is because the teachers were so focused on making the classes full and comprehensive for the AP tests that they added a lot of extra work in that you may not get in a regular college class. So, as long as you are sufficiently challenged and working hard you should be prepared for college... AP or not.
Anyway, I thought I'd just pass that along. It's what I would like to have known when I was starting high school. :)

Honestly, Honors classes are not that bad at all. I never really noticed the difference between honors and regulars. They can do wonders in helping you prepare for standardized tests and college (and the AP classes, of course).
Upperclassmen are not usually as bad as you think. I remember getting annoyed with freshmen because they always walked so slowly through the halls, and it always seemed that their problems were so petty compared to whatever it was I was dealing with (like college acceptance). However, I would never be rude to a freshman to their face, and I think you'll find most people are like that. In your choir class, there are bound to be upperclassmen and people are always willing to make new friends, no matter the age. Just be cool about it. Don't get yourself in trouble, though, to make an impression. Just be yourself. You'll be fine.

You have a lot to be worried about! Going to high school is a nervewracking experience! Try not to worry about the upperclassmen. The movies always make it look worse than what it is. They barely pay attention to the freshman anyways. As far as your courses go, those are tough, and your teachers obviously thought you could handle it since you were put in their classes. Study hard, but have fun, too. You are in high school, and these four years are going to be the best, (until your college years of course). Do your best, be your own person, and stand up for what you believe in! Good luck!

don't worry about it, everyone worries, but then they realize there's no need to. your teachers clearly feel that you can handle the courses, and if worse comes to worse (which i don't think it will) you can always switch into an easier course. as someone else asked, are you taking a math?I'm figuring you just forgot to list it, but if not you're going to need to add a math in. as for the upperclassman we may seem scary, but honestly (in my experience) they can be very helpful. if you ever got lost don't be afraid to ask an upperclassman they'll help you out. the worst that will happen is that you'll experience peer pressure from people you hang out with, just know where you stand and stick to it. don't let anyone talk you into anything you're uncomfortable with, honestly more often than not they'll respect your decision. just study hard and remember to take a break and have a good time too. Good luck
