Anyone know any good Carribean holiday places?

I live in crime ridden South London and am sick of black muggings and gun crime. I need a holiday and would like to know if there are any Carribean Islands that do not have a black population or any resorts where I could get away from them if only for a week. Any Ideas?

I doubt you will find any of the Islands without a black population - why not somewhere like Madeira?
It's a bit like living in the 50's there as far as crime goes - the police are all armed and probably the only violent crime most of them see is one car running into the back of another!
A Madeiran friend of mine there used to leave his car unlocked with the key in the ignition in the hope that someone would steal it, so that he could claim on insurance for a new one - he still had it last time I saw him.
Only drawback - it's expensive to get there because flights are limited, and there are no golden beaches. But I love the place.

It isn't likely that you'll go anywhere without muggings of some sort. It's everywhere.

The Carribean is a beautiful place. I've been there before, and had no problems. As long as you don't flash a lot of cash or wear a lot of jewelry, people will pretty much leave you alone. And at least you won't have to deal with a lot of rainy weather. (just kidding)

If you do go, plan on having a good time. The locals should be able to point you to some fun places to hang out, or you can arrange tours and hang out on a HOT beach.

Dear Alfonze, you poor begger, try Fernando De Naronha an lsland just off Brazils North Coast, Or margarita Islands just off Venezuelas coast, No Black muggers/gunners are there,just Latin American Meztizo ones!

Not in the Carribean...try Iceland or the Faroe islands...not many black people to mug you there.

I can definitely not recommend Trinidad & Tobago... it would be a home from home for you.
