Ophiuchus, is an enormous constellation that is located in the celestial equator very next to the nucleus of the Milky Route and in the opposed zone to Orion; he is observable during the months of April to October in both hemispheres without difficulty. It emphasizes as much by his drawn into squares form surrounded by stars in the east as in the west that represents Serpens or the serpent.

The curiosity of Ophiuchus is that the ecliptic or the line where the Sun and the planets move crosses the constellation by the south during the first fortnight of December, therefore, in himself is a zodiacal but not recognized constellation like so since its South limit at first was assigned to Scorpius. In addition all the constellation is to 10º to the north of the galactic equator, therefore, in them we observed great amount of stars, stellar and like no, globular cluster.

Ophiuchus limits of this with Serpens Caput (SCp), Libra and Scorpius, to the south with the constellation of Scorpius, to the west with the constellations of Sagittarius, Serpens Cauda (SCd) and Aquila; and finally to the north with Hercules.

Ophiuchus was located the 17 of April of 1982 at the age of 14 years from the Majorcan locality of Inca, Spain.
