It all depends on what your looking for in a game system. My girlfriend got me the xbox 360. I have MLB 2007 and Madden 2006. Those games are flat out sick with the graphics and they are lots of fun to play. I have heard quite a few complaints with the PS3 although I think in time it will be the better system with the blue ray. I bought her the Nintendo WiI. That is a blast if you want to workout while you play. Its lots of fun playing with your friends as well. I on the other hand prefer the sitting on my bed, relaxing with my cordless controller. Xbox 360 is more reliable at this point and time.

Get a xbox 360. Check out www.ign.com to see actual gameplay for both systems. Online service sucks on ps3 and it's over priced.Most of the important games are going to come out on xbox 360 that was exclusive on the ps3. They just messed up emulation for ps2 games by making it software emulation too.
