I would have them face a jury of MY peers.. (not theirs)
Who would then have them tried, convicted and punished for all crimes, including the war crimes of killing over half a million people...

I would leave them in place. Rules and precedent are rules and precedent, our rules of government require a president elected by the people to serve a 4 year term, and I would not change that simply because we cannot expel government leaders every time we disagree with them. When they commit criminal acts, they can be removed via impeachment but if every time the people got their panties in a bunch they restocked government, nothing would ever get done.
