He is a radio show host, not an elected official, therefore debate is not an issue.

Though the man makes me ill, I support free speech

Limbaugh has never been in a fair and balanced argument. he talks about it, saying he would go on Katie Couric's show to help save her ratings. He screens all his calls, even his open line Friday is slanted his way. He never appears on any open line show, for fear that he wont get a pre-sceened question. I have called the Limbaugh show, mislead about my question and my support, and when my actual question was revealed, a question that was tough to answer, been disconnected. Rush is afraid of any truth other that the one he manufactures. That is why he hides.

that might be true...but then i can ask you: why haven't the democrats been in a fair debate...they are too scared to appear on fox for a debate because they will actually have to answer tough questions that they are not ready to answer so they stick to the cupcake debates hosted by cnn and msnbc.

limbaugh wouldn't know what a fair and honest debate was if it bit him on his drug addicted butt...he doesn't "do" debate-he's just a neocon blowhard who attempts to be funny...and yes, his positions ARE so weak and dishonest that they can't withstand debate-
as for franken, he HAS debated conservatives before and has basically left them crying for their mamas

Put me down as another liberal who can't stand Rush Limbaugh, so chooses not to listen to him.
Same choice everyone else has.
And as someone else has already pointed out---he is a radio personality, not an elected government official, so I don't see any reason he has to debate anyone on anything.
If you don't like him, don't listen to him.
Same with Fox News, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, etc.

what papers from Niger are you refering to??..what do you know about Niger..the way it is set up and who Joe Wilson spoke to when he was there...

if you crave open debate back it up

and your knowledge is especially limited about what you think you know...why not call and challenge him..if you could formulate something more than bush failed...bush lied...cons..smell...blah blah blah..

it seems that fair and open debate is something the libs don't understand..unless it is prompted by some hate projected fill in the blank question...

Ah, here's someone who is for the "Fairness Doctrine" I'm sure. Or is this person just mad that Liberal talk radio like Air America can't successfully make it in the talk radio medium.

same thing goes for franken. limbaugh doesn't have to be fair or have an open debate. it's a free market. if you don't like hearing what he wants to hear, turn the station.

Libs like you don't have the balls to debate him, because you'd lose and end up showing what fools you are.
