Im in Ft myers florida and it 2.94 . People say Bush only went to war for the oil . If thats true why are we paying so much for the crap ?

$2.90ish in Baltimore.
We went to for many reasons, oil being one of them. If the oil stopped flowing out of the Middle East, gas would be a lot higher than it is now and the global economy would suffer.

Not sure exactly, but I do know that I pay more to the fed, state and local government for a gallon than I do to the oil companies.
I am always surprised when I see politicians talking about going after the oil companies over the high price, then they are not struck by lightning. God must be too disgusted with politicians to care anymore.

Cause Bush and Chaney are "oil men" where do you think all their money comes from. They use the war to blame for the prices. There is no reason gas should cost so much. We pay $2.85 a gallon in Oregon.

Because we cannot refine enough to supply our needs. A new refinery has not been built since the early 70's and our appetite goes up about 2-3% per year.
In addition, emerging markets like china and india are in competiotion for the black stuff with us.

$3.11 in Connecticut. F Bush! Ever hear of price Gauguin? Its when the American ppl rip off their own ppl! Its quite pathetic to think this is the so called greatest country on earth yet things like this can go on, with our fearless leader turning a blind eye.

I'm in central NY and it's over 3 bucks a gallon. We haven't won the war yet, that's why we're paying so much.

two bucks and 73 cents We get cheap prices cause we are a Bush state!!!! But I would pay $4.00 to be rid of him ..

Central Ohio....Gasoline, $2.85-$3.00 on a good week.
Diesel is running about $2.99- $3.10(depends what area in the city ur in )

hello i live in merced calif and we call it dead merced cause the olny thing that ever happens around here is stealing and lieing and killing and and thats about it and the gas prices are at $3.15 a gallon for now but im shure it will go back up again real soon thanks...........
