Pat A - are you implying that I am at one of the ends of the spectrum? Having read some of your answers it appears we are sitting in the same position.

Wow! I guess I'm a Hunter, Tancredo, Brownbeck - sorta gal. This quiz gave me a hard core conservative rating. Others I've taken have said I was a populist leaning conservative. Anyway--thanks. Guess I'm going to have to pay attention to our next VP--cuz it's gonna be one of them. I think Fred or Mitt will get the nom.

rmagedon, you come up with some of the best stuff. This was fun, and accurate. I am right there with Thompson, a centrist moderate, which is what I am.

This disproves the point you made before about voting for the party, I am a moderate and have gone both ways in my life, but I am going to vote for another moderate, Thompson. I'm sorry but the extremes at either end of this list are just too extreme for America.

Even though the test indicates I'm for Hunter or Romney, I'm still undesided. I've yet to find some one that has a vision for the US's future that creates wealth for the world.

Granted only 3 presidents have done that in my life time. They were Eisenhower, JFK, & Reagan. I'm also looking for (S)He to be more conservative than JFK & MLK.

Today both parties are more to the Left than both of them. Both of them talked about personnal responsibility & ethics. Today the parties are attempting to buy your votes with other people's money.

Well, it doesn't look like there is even a candidate within five miles of my positions. The highest score was a 22, and there is no way I am voting for that particular politician, so it looks like I am back where I started, choosing the lesser of two evils.

Neat test, I line up almost perfectly with Thompson, and that is who I will vote for. I have taken a few of these tests, this is the first one that seems pretty much right on the money.

I am going to pass the test around to some friends, I think they will be shocked that they are not as far to the socialist end as the candidate they want.

Very interesting, the person I support today is a bit towards the middle of what the test said. I do not think I will change my mind however since the person I line up with most does not have a chance of winning the primary or election.

This is what I got:

Cox 37
Tancredo 36
Paul 30
Romney 30
Hunter 28
Brownback 18
Huckabee 17
Thompson 15
McCain 8
Giuliani 1
Obama -15
Biden -16
Richardson -22
Clinton -23
Edwards -23
Dodd -24
Gravel -28
Kucinich -31

I'm still not sure how I will vote but the test did correctly indicate that no way I vote for the bottom 8.

There are lots of issue that the pres. doesn't have control over. He may yell and scream about something but without Congress nothing will happen.

HOWEVER, when it comes to amnesty - that's my deal breaker. I will not vote for a pro-amnesty candidate. Four more years of a pro-amnesty twit like Jorge Bush is not acceptable!

I ended up with Hunter and then Tancredo. Neat test! I hadn't seen it before.
