Im trying to find a cold air intake kit for my 04 taurus. I know its a tough car to find parts for. Anybody have any places or ideas where i can get some help? I tried building one but im having issues with the stock maf sensor. id like to get a new one or a aftermarket one for performance.

unless you have a reflashed or chipped ECU designed specifically to work with a CAI, or a turbocharger a cold air intake does nothing except make a louder noise and risk hydrolock.
infact, depending on the current ECU, you could loose HP over the midrange revs.
