I've gone to Stanley Park, Robson, Grandville Island, and Chinatown numerous times and wanted something new. Can you help me?

If you like Stanley Park, I suggest checking out the Capilano Suspension Bridge.

If you like Robson and Granville, then I suggest checking out Gastown.

If you're travelling by public transit the suggestions made by others about taking the Seabus to North Van is good. Lonsdale Quay is a mini version of Granville Market, but in some ways much nicer. You could continue on to the foot of Grouse and, if you're not up to walking up the mountain (Grouse Grind), take the gondola to the top. Or you could go to the Seymour conservation area in North Van where there's a free suspension bridge and lots of hiking trails. The bus stops a couple of blocks from the entrance.

You can explore False Creek by taking the Aquabus from Granville Island to Science World and Yaletown. The Aquabus also stops at the Vancouver Museum. If you're coming in late July or early August, take in the fireworks from English Bay. These are especially good if you do it by boat.

There's the Museum of Anthropology out at UBC that has good exhibits of native artifacts.

If you rent a car, there are lots more options. The Richmond Night Market is one of them. My personal favourite is to go to Fort Langley, check out the antique shops, visit the old fort and then follow the Fraser River a few miles east to the Fort winery. There's a monastery in Mission that has the greatest views of the Fraser Valley.

If you like walking and hiking, try the trails in Pacific Spirit Park (out by UBC and Jericho Beach), Everett Crowley Park, Burnaby Mountain and (if you have a car) Buntzen Lake.

For a different shopping experience try Main Street (antiques and local designers), Fourth Avenue in Kitsilano and Commercial Drive.

The Richman Night Market is something alot of people miss and it can be a good time out and if you want a day out do the Grouse Grind but be ready to sweat because it can take alot out of you. Have fun!
