can i use this kind of filter in my 1 gallon mini-bow?i hate my undergravel filter because the bubbles form at the top of it and water collects on the lid of my tank hood.i am also wondering,will it fit?because its a hanging external and i need to know if it will be able to fit or not.i have a betta in the tank.will the flow be too strong?i cant really upgrade my tank at the moment.thanks so much in advance!

I have one of these on a 2.5 gallon tank. It may be strong for a betta, but there's a flow adjustment on the uptake tube so you can change the rate of flow so it's at a level where your betta can still swim normally.

The filter is just a bit more than 3 1/4 inches wide and the uptake tube goes down about 6 1/2 inches from the rim, so you can see if this will fit your tank.

i think it may be just a bit too strong for a 1 gal tank and a a betta.
