This is what the dems want for a government--socialism. Dems think Cindy Sheehan, Danny Glover, and other Chavez supporters are expressing free speech by going to Venezuela and praising him are such great and wonderful Americans. I would hate to see what Cindy and Danny do if they disagreed with anything he ever does. Of course danny Glover needs the money, he has a hard time as an actor making money in hollywood so he has got go there.

It's the same slippery slope they all take.... Promos the world to the poor... the "rich" will pay their "fair share" by having their property taken over by the benevolent government... but, as usual, the poor will never see any benefit, because of the excess spent on military and government needs... the press is silenced and the scam goes on....

Yes, and this is another example of why liberals love Chavez so much. Liberals dream of being dictators so they can force everyone to conform to their whims. They hate real freedom because when people are free they can question and even oppose liberal fallacies.

Wow. I thought he'd already finished off free speech in Venezuela.... not that I had any plans to visit there. I guess I can double black it off my list, instead of the single one there now.

To answer your question... YES! More to the point, it is amazing how the liberals will defend him and even put him in front of any republican President. Hollywood and Cindy Sheehan love him and just simple adore him. And hey... why wouldn't they, he has their same views and he is willing to give them money!

He has restricted land ownership and is a friend to Iran. Nuff said. Sad thing is the US military uses him only as their supplier of gas. Crappy contract.
