Well, if she follows her current plan, quite a bit. She, like most of us, are sick of the Iraqis not stepping up to try and solve their political problems. As Gen. Petraeus has said more than once, a military solution cannot work until the political problems in Iraq are solved. She intends to put real pressure on the Iraqi Parliament, instead of a bunch of toothless demands like Bush has done, to find a solution for their political nightmare so we extradite ourselves from fighting their civil war in Baghdad. Then she intends to leave residual troops to protect our interests, which are many - keeping the Iranians from taking over, really going after the many cells Al Queda has set up all over the region and in other countries - rather than thinking we are fighting them in Baghdad (where even the White House acknowledges they are no more than 10% of the combatants), help guard the borders, and join NATO more fully in their efforts against the Taliban in Afghanistan, and continuing to help train the Iraqi troops. She's got a detailed plan and one that makes a lot of sense. It's half the reason she has my vote.

The same thing any president could to do. To all those who keep saying pull the troops out of iraq.... look, i havent supported the war its true we shouldnt have went without and exit strategy... but now were stuck and we cant leave.. that like lighting something on fire and thinking that moving thematch that started it will make it stop... but it won't. truth is the war is going to continue.. and all we can do is continue to educate the middle east... and become allies with them because... leaving them in this state of turmoil will only make things worse, causing civil war... and if you know history you know that civil war= the rise of fascist dictators like mussolini, hitler and stalin.... So what can Hillary do? what can bush do?.. Sit it out and wait...it sucks, but thats all.

She could talk to them.

After 15 minutes of listening to her fake a middle eastern accent, even the most hardened terrorist will be begging for peace.

Remove our troops from Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Work with the Palestinians and Israelis to recognize a Palestinian state. Open up talks with Iran, Syria and Lebanon. And capture Bin Laden and make him stand trial for his crimes. One addition: label Bush and Cheney as enemy combatants and send them to Guantanamo Bay without a trial.

Well, she could broker a peace plan, something that Bush hasn't tried and actually have "The political capital" to pull it off.
