What type of fluid is in my 2006 ford fusion power steering?

whats the spec? mercon 5?

This is what Henry says it uses, straight from the Ford service manual. You should be able to get Mercon/Dextron at any parts store. Ford has since discontinued using Mercon and have switched to Mercon 5, there is a TSB from Ford number 07-1-7 that states that it is acceptable to use Mercon 5 in your power steering system.
