Well for starters Cavalier's are front wheel drive, so you either have to convert it to rear drive (custom chassis, etc.) or adapt a trasaxle from a V8 Olds, Cadillac, etc. which would probably be way too wide to fit in a Cavalier. I suppose anything is possible, just not practical.

Hi Daniel, yeah it does fit but there's a lot of work involved and of course good mechanic/fabricator skills.
You would need a new plattform, a cage, rear end, etc. and discard all the original components.
After all this is done you can fit almost any engine, including a 454 or better yet a 507.
I guess you are trying to make a pro street or such.

well if the car was made before 95' it should just slip rite in, along wit a 454, no prob, but if its after a 95' then u could still fit a 150 but u would need some serious work to make it fit

lmao..........ya they top NHRA drag car back sometime in the early 90's was a custom 2 door cavalier cant remember what year though think it was 91'
