sorry-l meant, in the bottom of a container to hold a parosol up - it has to be heavy as poss- or wind will lift it- thankyou all.love jo xx

By volume; sand then cement and finally water. Try pouring some sand into the water and see it sink to the bottom. Do the same with cement and youll see the same only slower

A pound of sand, a pound of cement, and a pound of water all weigh the same. However, in volume cement is heavier.
