about every couple times i get on this site i run across some form of racism, don't these people have anything better to do?
I thought this was a site where people help each other with real problems and questions, why does it matter what color your skin is, we all bleed the same

There are a lot of racists, political cretins and pseudo-religious nutters on YA, if I may give them the collective term "bottom-feeders" I hope I may be forgiven.
Some are just inexperienced, some are immature and are using the anonymity of the site to "talk potty-mouth" and some are truly scum.

I agree with you all the way. I came to this section thinking there would be good questions to answer, but all I see everyday is a lot of racist questions. Especially towards black people. I'm black so it's very shocking to see so much hatred in people. These people don't have a life because if they did they wouldn't be so obsessed with such racist questions and remarks almost everyday. It's quite sad that we all are humans with the same skeletal bodies, and bleed the same red blood, and yet and still some races think that were all so different. Were all of one race anyway and that's the human race. When will people start to get that through their heads?
It's good to know someone like you feels the same way.

Good reference to the Merchant of Venice. I've come to think
of this site as a microcosm of the world. We have the good the bad and definitely the ugly. It's an easy place to be whoever you want to be. The whole world be be much better without racism, but we all know that's not possible. Thank goodness you arent one of them.

This is the cultures and groups section.
If someone asks why blacks do this or that in a non racist way, they still get yelled at and called a racist.
I say let people say what they want to say. It goes too far when theres namecalling.
I think its nice at times to come on here and see the various stereotypes people have. Gives me info on how not to act.

I agree with you, its really sad. Racist people are just narrow minded idiots who dont have the intelligence to see they are talking ****.
I agree with the guy above about the religion & spirituality section too... its full of arguments!
Some people must just come on here to get some anger out & have a go at some 'group' of people to use as scapegoats.
Sad.

I agree with you its a shame. And like that other person said I posted a question just like this one and Y!A deleted it. I also posted a question that said "the origin of man the proof of the skeleton named Lucy" and they also deleted that one. Either there "servers" are acting weird or the Yahoo admins have some sort of problem.

That is a good question. I have little tolerance for people that express hatred for others because of skin colour, religion, or sexual orientation without having ever met them. Wow, I guess that makes me intolerant of intolerants! I have friends who are Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Budhist, and Janist, black, white, native Indian, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Philipino, straight, and gay, none of it matters. A decent person is a decent person, a nasty bugger is a nasty bugger.

I guess some people are just more ill mannered than others... There will most likely always be racism somewhere.
