Maybe she does not like salt and the health concerns that too much salt bring. You can always add salt but once in the soup, you can not take it out. You should be glad she is making you soup and quit complaining.
Perhaps she should add salt peter to your soup.

Heres a thought how about either
A. You make the soup the way you want it, or
B. Manually add salt to your own soup!

First of all, is your wife suffering from high blood pressure and can't have all that salt? And two, what is wrong with your arm that you can't pick up the salt shaker and put some in your soup?

What is wrong with you? Salt is not very good for you and your wife might be trying to save your health and your life by cutting down on the salt.
Determined to have high blood pressure and play Russian roulette with a stroke, then why not stop the fuss and simply get the salt shaker and shake away to your heart attack's content.

Maybe she is not one to season food alot. I dont and my husband always says the same thing, but he puts his own salt on their. Did you ever think that maybe she does not like all that salt in her soup. She can't take it out, but you can put it in. However alot of times I think that i am putting too much but it never really ends up being enough.

Are your arms broken? Pick up the salt shaker and add your own salt. If she likes it the way it is, and you want more salt, then you can both be happy if you'd stop being so lazy and domineering. It's not 1750 anymore. Snap out of it.

Everyone has diffent taste.. Prehaps your wife does not like heavy salt taste.. The world does not revolve around you,, and since you can always add more salt to your personal taste, Is it not better for your wife to cook at little on the blander side... A word to the wise,, Watch what you ask for, You Just Might Get IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't it be that maybe SHE doesn't like that amount of salt in her soup? You can oversalt a soup- and ruin it- or you can undersalt soup and let each individual who enjoys the soup add their own amount to their liking.
