I'm attending a VIP party tomorrow night at Oakley headquarters. I was told my attire should be esgy evening wear, veering into casual. What would you suggest??? I'm stuck.

1] wear a pencil skirt, to knee, with matching closed pumps and skin color hose, or fishnets in nude or black
2] add a velvet or leather jacket
3] wear a [ relatively modest ] bright bustier or halter.
4] add some diamond earrings, or stud jewel earrings, and a bracelet or pretty ring.
5] smoky eyes, and almost nude lips

i think all black with some nice chunky metallic jewelry would be considered edgy.
oooh and if you watched the devil wears prada the girls wore some very cool edgy clothes. you could use them as examples

how about a pencil style skirt (fitted and tapered to knee) and a silk blouse? In summer colors, with nice heeled shoe. Blouse should be tucked in for a good line

get a casual dress with lots of color stay away from solids they look more dressy. dress ur dress up with lots of colorful necklaces. stay away from silver and gold as they also look dressy. with your hair keep it down with loose curls or just straigt. stay away from updo's and buns as they look dressier.
maybe u could even wear a colorful skirt and a shirt with a a blazer.
for shoes try flats ...not something very strapy with high heals that would be dressy
