Yes if it is taxed and controlled just like alcohol. You should not be able to just grow as much as you want buy it from people who aren't licensed through the government to sell it.

All drugs should be legalized & brought under State control.It would bring a massive drop in the crime rate & would save the health service billions.Once you take the profit out of drug dealing,the crooks will stop supplying it.It was Prohibition in the USA which made the mafia so powerful,& caused so much blood-shed.

I think all drugs should be legal. The present way of dealing with drugs is not working. The government imports drugs and makes money off it. If g.w. bush and saddam would have smoked a few they would probably have avoided all the trouble we are in

What's the point? All you have to do now is go to a doctor & pay $150 and get a damn presription for it. My fiance & his mysterious "back pain" just got a script Friday and now it is legal for him to have it. I think that is just rediculous.

I believe that marijuanna is not legalized because there is no way to prevent people from growing it, hence the inability to tax it.

Yep, you should be able to do whatever stupid things you want. I also think that if you do you need to be able to pay for the consequences yourself. Its all about personal responsibility, baby!

Why should it? I see no benefit to legalizing it; therefore, there is no reason to change the current law.
