WHY? of course not, men and women are not the same, definitely not EQUAL. Not to say that one is better than the other, but just DIFFERENT.
Women are just better fit to do certain things: dishes, cleaning, cooking, laundry, crying, complaining, nagging.

Giving birth by the way doesn't mean that women are stronger, just means that they have a higher threshold for pain and endurance!

I personally think feminism is a load of bull. I'm a woman and I think most of the issues feminists stand for are way over the top. Though, I do not believe that a woman should be enslaved to a man and that traditional values from the 50's should be forced upon her, I do believe that there are some things men are just better fit to do. But that also doesn't leave out that men should treat women with respect and vice versa. We are all human.

Of course they deserve the same rights. Both men & women are capable mentally of handling the same situation. I do however believe each has there own strenghts and weaknesses. This however can not be stereo typed for one individual person though because each of us are unique!

example: I'd much rather do the dishes than have to take out the smelly garbage :-) LOL!

As a woman, I do believe in equal rights for both men and women. It is funny that you ask because I was raised by my father who taught me to work on cars, cut the grass and hedges, take out trash, paint, cook, clean, cut hair, play and enjoy sports and so on. My mother raised my brother. We turned out fine. We are well rounded and have mutual respect for the opposite sex because it is not easy being male nor is it easy being female. If you really want a question to ask: are rights equal for either male or female when in society both sexes are discriminated against equally but in different areas? Equal rights spread burdens equally is what I am getting at. It does not matter about male or female. Equal rights limits the excuses and holds each individual accountable for making their life work. It is not because of what an individual cannot or is not allowed to do.

Women have not proven themselves equals because in all truth we are too different to be equals. I don't say that one is inferior to the other, but talking to women that is exactly what they think about men.
So I don't think women DESERVE the same rights, but I do think they SHOULD have the same rights.
