Absolutely not. It's one thing to hire a surrogate because you can't carry your own child, but to do it because you don't want to get fat... I think that being able to carry your own child is a special gift. If you had problems conceiving like my husband and I do, I don't think you would even be hypothetically asking this question.

If it was a promblem with my body I would do it but just so I wouldn't lose my figure no way I am TTC #1 and I think the 9 months of ebing pregnant and feeling your baby grow inside of you and form and grow into a living baby is a bond no one should give up unless they have to like i said for health problems
Kudos to you though on asking a great question!

I'd only consider a surrogate if I personally couldn't carry a child for medical reasons. But for reasons as shallow as keeping my figure? Absolutely not!

No I wouldn't. Miss out on the wonderful experience I don't think so!! I am 15 weeks pregnant and I have never been happier. The first trimester was a little rough but I would do it again.

No way, not for vanity reasons. Motherhood is the #01 most selfLESS job a woman undertakes, and the first step of that selflessness...giving up your figure. Then there's a ton more sacrifices to follow. But how could any of that matter when you're holding your little "mini me" in your arms? :)
Great question though!

nope and most doctors wont do a surrogate mother for this reason surrogacy is done when the mom cant conceive and carry not because she doesnt want to lose her figure this is a dangerous medical procedure and its not taken lightly

No i was and am very sad about losing my figure, but it was soooo worth it to feel those lil kicks and hiccups and then to look at her and know that she grew in me, that my body made this beautiful baby!!!
I can always work hard and get my figure back, i would never get to experiance the wonder of birthing my first child again

No, not for something as superficial as that. I am perfectly capable of bearing my own children. I don't know if I would even be able to trust someone else enough to be a surrogate for me even if I couldn't bear my own children.

For the sole purpose of not losing my figure?! No. I bet it happens though..... I know of a woman who demanded to have a C-section because she didn't want to stretch her vaginal muscles while giving birth. People can be strange, but to each their own, I suppose.

NO WAY! if you want a child you should not worry about your body. if your still fairly young and this is your first your body will more than likely go back to normal soon after exspecially if you eat right and breast feed. there is no feeling more AWESOME than having a child grow in your body, you would be missing out on so much!!!! really think about it
