Personally I don't see anything wrong with gay people or them wanting to get married. Somehow ever that last couple of years the 'gay marriage' issued has been pushed on everyone. 'Some people' are silly enough to think that if 2 gay people were to get married, it will somehow impact 'their' marriage. I don't get that logic at all. If gay people or straight people get married it has squat to do with my own marriage. Clearly I don't think those type people are secure enough with themselves as people, secure in their own sexuality, or secure in their own marriage if they foolishly think gay people getting married is going to destroy theirs or they 'family dynamic.'

Ok I just had to add, after seeing some more posts. Whats so hard about explaining this to children. We don't explain that 'look here is a black person.' 'or here is a handicapped person.' Kids adapt, kids are smarter than given credit for. Its only an issue when people make it an issue. Its only thought of as 'bad, wrong, sick' etc etc when its TAUGHT that way. I still have to blink in 2007 when things are still so silly and people are sooooo closeminded. Again people, GAY people have NO impact what so ever on your life or your marriage. If they do, you're certainly not very secure in yourself, your sexuality, or your marriage.

I do not believe gay marriage should be legalized. Men and women were meant for the institution of marriage not a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

I always think about what effect it would have on a child not to have a father or not to have a mother in these situations. I don't find it a suitable way to raise a child as I don't believe it is natural.

I DISAGREE WITH GAY MARRIAGES! And I believe that it should NOT be legal in every state.
Why is it that every creature on earth can obey God except for human beings. There is no such things as animals of the same sex mating with each other. So why do some human beings have to go against what is morally a spiritually right!
Many of you may disagree, but this is what I STRONGLY believe in and will continue to teach my children the same!!!
I love all people, no matter what their preferences, but right is right and wrong is wrong! GAY MARRIAGES IS WRONG!!!

I personally don't agree with gay marriage for this reason. How are you going to tell you're kids???? I mean, there is a difference between a man and a woman. Two guys together just does not( I repeat) does not make sense but two women......now that's another story(just playing ladies). I just don't understand with a gay marriage.

Listen, I agree that you are who you are. But a man knows what he is and he knows what he has to do to live in this world. Why???? Because we men should not only take care of the ladies but also help out as possible. A man will be always a man...............................well at least not a gay guy(that's just not right.......in my opinion).

We all know those of you voting against gay marriage are hypocrites. You aren't fooling anyone. Like you are so goddamned perfect. What a joke. Who are you to decide how someone else lives?

Just like the most recent pastor in a string of self-righteous hypocrite pastors - the guy in Colorado - who rails against gays, most of you are gay and have a gay lover or prostitute on the side.

Get over your "oh I would *never* do that because i am so perfect" self-delusions. you steal from work, cheat on your spouses, explore your own gayness in adult video booths, take kickbacks, hire friends, lie on your taxes, lie to your wives and husbands, have affairs, drink and drive, cheat at cards, shoplift, and never tell the clerk they gave you too much change back.

I'd tell you to take that down thumb and shove it, but that would turn you on too much.

I think people who love each other should be able to get married no matter if they are men or women. There are a lot of things much much worst on this earth than gay marriage.
I think it's time that people focus on something else.
By the way, i'm not gay and happily married but i have known a lot of gay people and I have my cousin, if they're happy the world is a much better place.

Gay marriage is to confusing of a term.
After all, everyone know that marriage is depressing not gay.
Homosexuals should have the right to be as miserable as the rest of us.

the way to eliminate this whole debate is to eliminate all the benefits of marriage for everyone. marriage is a ritual in a religion and the state has NO business being involved in it in any way shape or form

well i dont believe it should be illegal. why? well for one yes... people do have the right to do and believe what they want but yet..the natural intention for marriage is that one MAN and one WOMEN are to get married and populate the earth.
many say well its not in the bible but thats because they refuse to believe it and want to chose what they want so that they wont feel bad for it. mark 10:7-8 says how a marraige should be between a man and a women and God told adam and eve after they were banned from the garden to repopulate the earth...so to me and my opion i do not believe its right ...

I believe that in 150 years people will look back on today and be amazed that gay marriage was illegal so recently, just like we look back 150 years into our past and are amazed that slavery was legal so recently.
