I don't usually agree with Kevin but he is right this is the most integrated city I have ever lived in and I have lived in a bunch while in the military. If you are looking for a white (Anglo)neighborhood you might find one in Austin or Houston, but you are not going to find one in San Antonio. Your use of the word white makes me wonder what do you think Latinos are? Most are white, if you bring in the Indian blood I don't have a problem with that as most families that have been here for several generations have Indian and many have black in them also. Don't confuse San Antonio with Vidor, we are not the same.
Note; Kevin here is a thumbs up

San Antonio is quite culturally diverse. However, Stone Oak, while having a mix of all races, may have a higher percentage of Caucasians than some of the other areas in town. While there is no strict boundaries like I have seen in other cities. In San Antonio the Southside and West Side has a higher percentage of Hispanics, the Eastside has the highest percentage of African Americans in the city, And the Northside is the highest percentage of whites.
I live in Stone Oak and my kids go to school at Bush Middle School which feeds into Reagan High. We moved to the area because the schools are good and there is minimal student trouble. My kids, however, have friends who are white, hispanic, arabic, black and asian. Most of the kids are a combination ie Arabic father/hispanic mother.
In San Antonio anglos are in the minority so there are no all white areas.

There are no places that are mostly Anglo. You could move next to the whitest person you've ever met only to find out his last name is Garcia or Gomez. Universal City has about 70% white but if you look at the last names you'll find some hispanic blood. Not a cool question to ask dude and I'm white.

I read in a magazine that San Antonio is the #1 city for Latinos. Stone Oak is yesterday's churchill area. I have many friends in Stone Oak who are black and mexican American. People often mistake me for mexican because I am dark olive skinned. So, are you sure these people are mexican american? Don't judge by the cover. Judge by the heart.
