Hi,

Triangle ABE is congruent to triangle CDE by ASA (angle-side-angle)

DC is congruent to BA
DE is congruent to BE

Triangle PSR is congruent to triangle RQP by SAS (side-angle-side)

PR is congruent to PR

Triangle DCF is congruent to triangle BAE by SSS (side-side-side)

fig 1. rt angle triangle you need 1 side and an angle and that is what you have in the given figure. so the rest of the angles and sides are equal. DC=AB, CE=EA DE=EB a=c d=b e=e so:

a. EDC=~EBA
b. rt trngl angle side
c. CDE=ABE, ED=EB, AB=CB

fig 2. PR is common to both tringles so it is equal in both
cases. PS=RQ PQ=SR so we have SSS. but q=s is also given so SAS also applies. SRP=RPQ and PRQ=SPR.

fig 3 is SSS since CF=EA DF=EB EA=FC
