yet accidently getting knocked up from hot sex in the back of seat of a car happens all the time?

Seriously, my husband and I have been trying for a few months without luck...we're trying during fertile times and taking care of ourselves...

Everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant without meaning to. I don't get it!!!

I felt the same way the last few weeks until I finally got a posiitve a few days ago. 90% of couples conceive with 12 months of trying, so chances are really good. The people who get knocked up without trying, could have been having unproteced sex for months before getting pregnant, but I know how annoying it is.

Tell me about it! I feel the same way. I have a few friends that got pregnant recently and I went through a tough time blaming myself for trying without success for almost 2 years, but they make it sound like for them "oops! it just happened." That sort of talk hurts even more. Oh, and people telling me to "just relax" BS. Its pretty annoying. I have also been told by 2 different doctors that thinking about wanting a baby and being concerned about TTC is perfectly normal and won't harm your fertility. If you are constantly stressed and seriously depressed, it may be a factor that should be looked into. I really think that now that we are ttc-ing, we notice other peoples pregnancies and see pregnant women everywhere!
Keep trying and remain hopeful. If you find yourself down, call a friend or DH, and do things that make you smile. Good luck!

You grow up learning that you can get pregnant practically just THINKING about it! But actually if you do your research its almost amazing that we can EVER get pregnant. Our bodies have so many defense mechanisms built in to dispose of foreign "products" (ie: sperm =) ) and their are only certain times of the month where we even HAVE an egg to fertilize and if you miss that time then you have to start all over again. When I was trying to get pregnant I actually had to go on Birth Control for 6 months first just to train my body to make the eggs at the same time every month (I was all over the place) and then when we were ready we had to figure out when I was ovulating and then have sex on those days. There are even days WITHIN your ovulation week that you shouldn't have sex!! A lot of people don't know that. If you are pretty regular (periodwise) then one way to figure out when you are ovulating (without going to the doctor or using tests) google ovulation calendars and punch in your info (date of last period, length of period etc..) and it will tell you when the best times to have sex are, and what days NOT to have sex!! We tried for 4 months, then went on birth control for 6 months and on my first ovulation after going off BC I was prego just using one of these online calendars. He is 9 months old and learning to walk ALREADY and making me work it!! lol

GOOD LUCK!

My oh my! That was what I felt before. What I did was no stress, and just enjoy the sex life with my husband. Sure, there's hope of conceiving most of the time. But, we let nature take it course, and now we have it! Also, don't just have sex on your fertile day, it is more like a mission than enjoyment. Have sex..well.. everyday! Good luck!

It took me and my husband three years before I got pregnant the first time which resulted in a miscarriage. We then tried for 6 months before buying an ovulation kit which worked the first month.(my son is 6 years old)
Then I actually go and get pregnant on the pill the third time, (my daughter is 3)and then tried for 8 months and finally got pregnant again(baby 10 weeks old)
Good Luck

I'm so sorry you're not having any luck. I took my husband and I 8 mos. to conceive and it was so frustrating. I know it's hard but try to be patient.

After we had tried for 6 mos. we finally invested in the Clearblue Easy fertility monitor and it really did the trick for us. Just something to think about...

Good Luck and try to stay positive!

God, at least I'm not the only one that feels that way! My husband and I have been trying for over a year now! Just found out I have PCOS, so we're trying new meds to help with my ovulation...most women conceive naturally within the 1st year of trying, so if you don't within a first year, speak with your DR about it...good luck!

No. incredibly, i attempted to get pregnant, then grew to alter into pregnant. study up on duplicate, and attempt to locate the perfect time on your cycle to get pregnant. There are incredibly exams at branch shops which provides help to with this. No magic necessary.
