most modern helmets have cut outs in the lining where you can fit ear pieces/ speaker thingies which you then wire up to a fly lead which then connects to your music source. BMW helmets come like this and can be wired to what ever you intend to use as a music source. The other way of achieving this is to fit a sat nav with music memory / storage and when you then plug your helmet lead in to the bike wiring sat nav harness hey presto. Ask your local bike dealer wots on offer.

Geez, kid, ever hear of an iPod? Wear one while wearing the helmet.
But, seriously, it's not a good suggestion, because the radio would block out traffic noise, and reduce your ability to respond.
Mostly on the big highway bikes, Goldwings and fully dressed Harley's, they have wire connections to plug the helmet into the dash area, and you can receive radio, or also speak to a rider thru helmet speakers.

Several companies manufacture headsets and communications systems that allow you to listen to music, talk to other motorcyclists on a two-way or CB radio, and even place and receive cell phone calls while riding your motorcycle. Check with your friendly local motorcycle parts and accessories store for more details.
