Yep, I grew up with the Keep America Beautiful commercial. His name was Iron Eyes Cody (born Espera Di Corti). He died in 1999.

Iron Eyes Cody. Yes I remember the commercial. Back in the late 70's. If I am right , he is dead now. He did a few movies

His name Iron Eyes Cody - actually was born a Sicilian, and real name was Espenra DeCorti.
He has since passed away.

My mom and dad told me about it. He said that it used to be his home, but so many people litered and thats what his home looked like after. It's sad that such jerky people would make this world look ugly!!!
