I am a young white guy who makes good money. I've already given the man 6 thousand dollars this year and the Democrats want to take more. I don't want my child taught sex ed in kindergarden or by the school at all, for that matter. So, what will the Democrats do for me besides raising my taxes and teaching my kindergardener about sex?

FYI: I hope my money goes to fighting crazy jihadist who kill people around the world everyday. I hope my money doesn't go to some illegal in the ER.

I'm thinking long term here.

I've voted Republican and I more than likely will vote Democrat this time around. Like you I am making money. Like you, I have kids, four in fact and dislike the public school system. What I get out of cutting loose these Republicans is hopefully in the next two years, they'll start actually doing what they are supposed to do which is being fiscally conservative instead of being whores to every lobbyist with a checkbook. The last Republican run Congress spent like drunken frat boys of spring break. No disregard for how hard it was to put this money in their pocket. They also tried to run through the first real Illegal Alien Amnetsy bill. When you call and write, it's amazing how much they "understand your concern" but do what they were going to do in spite of it.

Writing them does no good. Calling them produces a thank you and "we'll look into that" but little else. The only way to make politicians be mindful of what their constituents want is to show that you're willing to run their sorry carcasses out the door if they're screwing up.

If by "sex education for kindergardeners" you mean "what to do if someone tries to kidnap or molest you" then yes, Democrats are in favor of that.

And FYI, Bush has raised your taxes more than any democrat could ever hope to. You see, when the government spends more and runs the largest deficit in the history of our nation, the taxpayers are the ones ultimately footing the bill. Bush raised your taxes, just not right away, he borrowed the money in the short term, when the loans need to be paid back guess what? Its gonna be you and me who pays!

The only thing that will help you personally is voting your conscience for the person you think has the best plans for your city, county, state and our nation. Don't vote based on party. Vote based on the issues.

It won't.

It won't help anyone not on welfare.

What Democrats do is make everyone more equal by preventing more people from getting ahead. It doesn't help anyone, it just reduces the "gap" between people.

That's why they're always talking about "gaps" - because in terms of absolute living standards, incomes and wealth, you're better off with lower taxes and regulations, but because in addition to most people being a little better off, some people will be a lot better off, Democrats play on the resulting envy, convince you that your being a little better off wasn't the result of a freer economy, that you'll keep yours but the rich guy will lose his. It doesn't work that way.

"It's all about "fairness," says Hillary. And "fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)

"We are at a stage in history in which remolding society is one of the great challenges facing all of us in the West."
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 119 - During her 1993 commencement address at the University of Texas)

"The only way to make a difference is to acquire power"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 68 - Hillary to a friend before starting law school.)

The most glaring reason is this: Right now we are paying for the Iraq War, and many other expenditures on credit. So you might have to pay more taxes now, but you kid won't have to pay 50% taxes in the future to make up for the present.

Being a Democrat is about caring for your fellow man and knowing all sides of an issue before you act. If your sole aim is to fight crazy jihadists, then vote for George W. Bush over and over again. Unless you make more than $500,000 a year, the Republicans do nothing for you.

Demoncrats help "groups" not individuals. Group votes ensure their reign of enslaving the lower class is perpetuated.
